The Spirit Of Brooklands by Douglas Kurn is the photo book consisting of long exposure photographs taken at night at the former Brooklands Motor Racing Circuit in Weybridge, Surrey, UK.
To contrast with how the track was during race days Douglas chose to shoot at night and only when it was completely still. This resulted in some beautiful yet eerie results which are are presented in this book.
The book consists of over 30 images from the series, as well as some commentary from the photographer.
