2. Size & Placement
Q: What size of wall art is best for my living room/bedroom/office?
A: For a statement piece above a sofa or bed, I recommend A1 size or larger. For narrow walls or hallways, a A2 or A3 print works beautifully. For smaller office spaces A3 or A4 prints work brilliantly.
Q: How do I measure my wall space for the right art size?
A: The best guide is to aim for art that covers 60-75% of the space of the furniture beneath, or 60% of the wall width if it is hung as a stand alone piece of art. For example, a king size bed (150cm) pairs well with an A1 size print. Use masking tape to outline the size before ordering so that you can see how it looks. Send me a photo of your space with measurements, and I’ll send you back an image with the print installed on your wall.
Q: Can I buy a set of smaller prints instead of one large piece?
A: Of course! All prints are available as A4 prints, which fit beautifully in a 14 x 11” frame. Mix and match sizes for a dynamic gallery wall display; I can help you curate the perfect arrangement.
Q: What’s the best way to arrange multiple photos on a wall?
A: For a modern clean look, use uniform frames and equal spacing (2-3 inches apart). For a more eclectic vibe, mix sizes but keep a consistent colour theme.
